System management for aggregation of knowledge on marine geological survey in coastal areas

Takahashi, Tadao*; Sato, Toshinori; Masunaga, Kosuke

JAEA-Review 2017-030, 60 Pages, 2018/01

JAEA-Review-2017-030.pdf:4.32MB

The amount of the information such as the data, models and analysis results related to geological environment has been enormous. It is believed that an appropriate organization of the information is useful for conducting geological environment survey work at the candidate sites of geological disposal. The Survey on Geological Disposal Technology projects commissioned by METI that started in FY2015 handles various information such as the data, models, analysis results, etc. of geological environment. In this project, in preparation for collection and compilation of the information on geological environment in coastal areas, we have made clear the current status of the existing systems including databases. At the same time, we have created measures for centralized information management for the purpose of organizing a huge amount of information as well as sharing the information and information management systems among the related organizations.

JNC TN9410 2000-004, 30 Pages, 2000/03

JNC-TN9410-2000-004.pdf:0.86MB

The Operation and Maintenance Support Systems for JOYO are being developed, with the aim of ensuring the stable and safe operation of JOYO and improving operational reliability of future FBR plants. Plant Operation Management Expert Tool named JOYPET had been developed as one of the Operation and Maintenance Support Systems, which helps plant operation management. The following functions were developed and applied. (1)Papers management (Plant status management) function for maintenance activities (2)Isolation management support function for plant operation (3)Automatically drawing function of plant operation schedule (4)Isolation judgment function for plant operation By use this system, the plant management of JOYO was able to improved reliability and reduced manpower.

System concept for FBR cycle data base

Kofuji, Hirohide; ; *; *;

JNC TN9400 2000-055, 49 Pages, 2000/03

JNC-TN9400-2000-055.pdf:2.07MB

Accompanying with the progress of the "Feasibility study on FBR cycle system; FS" , various kinds of technical information, facility design parameters, and related data will be obtained and they should be stored in data bases and be used as fundamental data for the FS. So the several data bases are going to be set up at each section and controlled by the management system through a local area network. Among above data bases, a prototype of FBR cycle data base that will record data for FBR scenario study and synthetic assessment is to be completed in. Phase l by fiscal year 2000, so the data base system concept has been examined in the current fiscal year, 1999. As the results of the system concept examination, two types of prototypes have been selected, one is to be set up as the data table containing digital data that are extracted from technical papers, another is as image data of papers with index information. Referring to examples of data bases in other companies, it was kept in mind to use a package software for general purpose and to utilize data existing now.

Many research activities are conducted to enhance cost performance and safety of nuclear power plants operation and maintenance. Concept of autonomous operating system to equal the role of operators and of maintenance personnel with artificial intelligence and autonomous robots has been developed. An intellectual maintenance management system has been developed to be equipped with decision making functions of maintenance personnel. The intellectual maintenance management system is in charge of maintenance function of an autonomous plant, which consists of plant-wide monitoring, evaluation of component integrity, and scheduling of maintenance activities. In other words, this system should be equipped with preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance functions those are currently loaded on personnel. In this report, we discussed condition monitoring maintenance in the preventive maintenance. We also reported a sensor validation system development for machinery condition monitoring and diagnosis. We adopted distributed and cooperative system construction technique, which is expected recently in applications to large-scale plants. This system has inter-agent communication function for signal transmission and reception among distributed physics models of machineries. The system has been constructed for water / steam system of the LMFBR power plant. The system has been validated to be capable of cooperative sensor validation by the distributed set of agents, with quantitative indication of sensor deviation based on a newly developed fuzzy algorithm with inter-agent cooperation. The derived reference parameter value from the inter-agent evaluations also stands for the alternative measurment to the malfunctioned sensor.
